EFINST Suadiye

The Suadiye branch is situated in Şaşkınbakkal, a residential area next to the Marmara Sea coast and is one of the most attractiive parts of Istanbul. Since 2000 we have occupied  the top three floors of a large building on Bağdat Street, one of the most famous streets in Istanbul with cafes, restaurants, cinemas and shops. We currently average 20 teachers and 5 administrative staff and have 16 air conditioned classrooms of varying size. We have a Director of Studies and a Senior Teacher to give academic support to all our teachers.

In the past Bağdat Street was part of the famous Silk Road in Asia. The area was also a popular holiday place for upper-class Istanbul people in summer and in the surrounding areas you can still see old wooden summer villas and beautiful gardens. Many Istanbullus like to meet in Suadiye to enjoy tea and “simit” – a special Turkish pastry covered with sesame seeds - while they chat in a traditional tea garden by the sea.

The Suadiye school has a variety of courses including General and Business English, ESP (English for Specific Purposes), Young Learners, exam preparation classes and tailor-made programmes for private and group classes. The school is also a licensed TOEFL ibt test centre.
