Welcome to EFINST

It’s been 15 years since we set up our first branch in Istanbul and we now have 6 branches, around 100 English teachers, 15 Turkish teachers, more than 2,000 students and are working with more than 80 companies. The newst EFINST branch opened in Ankara, in 2008. We were planning to open more branches in 2009 but global conditions did not let us carry out our plans. We are sure that in the next 2 years more branches will open in Istanbul, Adana, Antalya, İzmir and maybe other cities throughout Turkey.

Although we were affiliated to the International House World Organisation for 5 years, and then to English First for 3 years, we finally decided to be an independent network of schools. Our success has been due to a team of experienced and professional teachers, marketing and administrative staff, many of whom have been with us from the start. They have helped to create a professional but friendly learning environment for all of our students.

The EFINST Executive Center was opened in 2004 to satisfy the ever-increasing demand for Business English and tailor-made programmes. In 2005 a Training Center was established as a result of a partnership with ITI, a well-known teacher training company in Istanbul. We have been running CELTA courses since 2004 and the new Training Center also provides quality in-service and pre-service training opportunities for native and non-native speakers of English. Since 2007 we have aligned all courses, both general and tailor-made, with the ‘can do’ statements established by the Common European Framework.
